A simple tool made for everyone

Many people want to keep a cooking video for later, save a song for a long bus ride, or watch a lesson where the internet is weak. But a lot of download tools feel confusing, full of steps and strange words. We wanted something your grandparent could use on their phone without calling for help.

So we kept it small and clear. There is one box, one button, and a short list of choices. No account, no app to install, and no browser extension. If you can copy a link, you can use it.

How our YouTube video download tool works

Here is the whole process in plain words. You copy a link from YouTube, paste it into the box on our home page, and tap the button. We look up that video right away and show you its title, how long it is, and the qualities you can pick.

Tapping a choice opens the file in a new browser tab, straight from YouTube's own video servers. On a phone, the video might start playing. That is normal. Just open the browser menu and choose Download, or long-press the video and pick Download or Save.

What we promise: free, easy and private

The tool is free to use, and you never need to sign up. It works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook. Long videos are fine too.

We also care about your privacy. Video details and links are fetched fresh for each visit and never saved. We do not host any files, and we keep no list of what you download. We do use Google Analytics and cookies to count visits anonymously, and Cloudflare helps keep the site online and secure.

We are honest about limits, too. Private, age-restricted, members-only, removed or region-blocked videos may not work, and live streams that are still running cannot be saved. If you paste a playlist link, only the one video in that link is saved.
